9th European Orchestra Festival

For the first time the European Orchestras
Festival is taking place in Estonia. There are nearly 700 musicians coming to Tallinn from 26 high-level orchestras from 12 different countries (Switzerland, Croatia, Germany, Holland, Finland, Bulgaria, Norway, Czech Republic, Latvia, Ireland, Lichtenstein and Estonia). Festival is organized by European Orchestras Federation and Estonian Symphony Orchestras Association.
European Orchestra Festival will take place in Tallinn from 27th to 30th of April 2012. During the festival participating orchestras are going to perform in different concert halls and churches in Tallinn. 9 different workshops will be leaded by different experienced professional conductors and all the groups will also perform with the pieces which they have learned all together in Tallinn. All the guests have also a chance to have a tour in Tallinn and experience Estonian culture. Festival's accommodation, catering, workshops and festival club will be in Pirita TopSpa hotel. There is also going to be an additional tour to St. Petersburg where the orchestras will perform in different important concert-halls.
